About the Unilever Young Entrepreneurs Awards

We are living in a world where temperatures are rising, water shortages are more frequent, food supplies are increasingly scarce and the gap between rich and poor is increasing. Populations are growing fast, making basic hygiene and sanitation even more of a challenge.

We can overcome these challenges and build a bright future for everyone, if we work together. But to do this, the world needs a plan. These Awards recognise 18 to 35 year olds who are putting ideas into action.

ASEAN Youth Initiative Conference (AYIC) is an international conference for ASEAN youth, initiated by students of Padjadjaran University, to express their aspirations in responding to global issues, especially in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (also known as Global Goals) AYIC invites best and brightest youth of ASEAN to present their research papers in refer to 4 Global Goals that are the highlight of AYIC. Also, conducts intensive discussion with experts.

AYIC invites youths from all across ASEAN countries to present their research papers regarding Sustainable Development Goals points promoted by AYIC and to have intensive discussions with experts. Best research papers will be published and the participants will together build an act recommendation in a public conference at the end of AYIC. selengkapnya

Paper competition is aimed to share, gather idea and good practices among youth to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals in related to climate change and the sustainable future.

The paper competition is divided into four clusters.

ESD Cluster Agro:

4. Sustainable Forest management
5. Sustainable Food safety and security
6. REDD (Reduction of Emission from Deforestation and Degradation)

ESD Cluster Health

2. Sustainable control of tropical infectious diseases
3. Sustainable care for women and children
4. Green medicines
5. Pro poor health policy
6. Population growth control

ESD Cluster Science and Technology

1. Biodiversity conservation
2. Disaster risk reduction and mitigation
3. Climate change adaptation and/or mitigation
4. Green energy
5. Green technology
6. Ecosystem protection
7. Water resource conservations
8. Green chemistry
9. Green Small Medium Enterprises (UMKM)

ESD Cluster Social and Humanity:

1. Green economic/growth
2. Indigenous environmental wisdom exploration and conservation

For selected presenter/poster exhibitor, please submit a full paper (not more than 3,000 words) with the following format.
