The competition is organised by Mslexia, the magazine for women who write.

Our Women’s Short Story Competition is back for its ninth year and it’s just as fabulous as always. Not only will the winning writer get £2,000, they will also have the prestige of being published in Mslexia, a credit shared with writers like Costa winner Angela Readman and novelist Peggy Riley. In July 2017, 32 of the best and brightest students from Southeast Asia and Japan will come together in Yangon, Myanmar for an exclusive audience with prominent Asian leaders and experts. Students will get a rare chance to learn from their experience and challenges in urbanization. Packed with workshops and fieldwork, this 4-day program will culminate in the students’ presentation centered on the 14th HYLI theme.

In conjuction to this program, we would like to conduct a campus visit on:
