Kegiatan awal tahun dibuka dengan kesibukan mempersiapkan proposal PKM didanai 2019. Rangkaian kegiatan ini telah dimulai sejak berakhirnya PIMNAS ke-31 lalu dengan melaksanakan Roadshow Sosialisasi PKM 5 bidang dan PKM Karya Tulis ke beberapa fakultas dilanjutkan dengan unggah proposal PKM ke laman simaster UGM. Setelah itu barulah tim reviewer internal melakukan seleksi proposal PKM tingkat universitas hingga terkumpul sejumlah 670 proposal yang lolos seleksi internal.
